A great reel from the CD of Frankie Gavin and Alec Finn. CD doesn't give it a name...

The first reel is from a Brian Rooney recording, can't remember the name sorry!
Second tune comes from the album Noel Hill and Tony Linnane
The last reel is the Road to Monalea taught by Siobhán O'Donnell at Ceol Aneas, and composed by her father.

Navvy on the Shore / Shores of Lough Graney / Scarta Glen

The first tune I learnt from the Fred Finn and Peter Horan recording "Music of Sligo" The the last two come from an old tape "The Shores of Loch Graney"

Great tunes I leant from a youtube clip of Proinsias O Maonaigh & Mairead Ni Mhaonaigh - of Altan fame

The Nice Jig / Jackson's Morning Brush / ?

Some great jigs I've leant recently. Jackson's is also called Frank Collin's on Ado and Ben's recording Undertones. The last tune I don't know the name.
I played the Nice Jig last night and was told its actually called The Cat's Miaow composed by Joanie Madden

Rainy Day / Lady on the Island / ??

I the learnt the rainy day from Charlie, its a lovely tune and what a great name! then the Lady on the Island again - see a couple of posts ago - followed by another reel that came into my head which fits nicely on the end. I will come back and fill in the names when they come to me.

Humours of Drinagh / Trip to Athlone / ??

Some jigs, the first two from Knocknagree by Tony McMahon and Noel Hill fantastic box and concertina playing. The last one is a tune played by Martin Mulvihill, the name escapes me at the moment.

Piper's Despair / The Lady on the Island / The Tempest

Some mighty tunes.
The Piper's despair and The Lady on the Island I learnt from a Connie O'Connell session tape. The Tempest came from a recording of Martin Hayes and P.J. Hayes with Randall Bays. I've just learnt the Tempest so the change is a bit rough, but I've run out of time so I'll post it as is.

The first two jigs I associate with the Wellington session crowd and have gradually learnt them over the year at Ceol Aneas. Matt Peoples is a Paddy Fahy tune
